Some time ago I posted a YouTube video of the problems in Orissa, India and how BCM International was helping. Recently I received an update of how things were going in Orissa by BCM International's president Mary Windle. First I'll post the video for those of you who may have missed it the first time around, then I'll post the letter.
Now here's the latest news.
From the President’s Desk – Orissa

Greetings from the President's Desk.
Orissa, and the believers there, have been in our prayers for some time. I am happy to report that this last week end, Palm Sunday week end, BCM held a Bible Convention in Orissa and also dedicated three new churches. These are the first new church to be built since the persecution began over two years ago.
Early Sunday morning Dr. Dalavai, Rev. Adustra Rao, and Rev. Nayak called me from the train station on the return from the area with a verbal report:
“I am happy to inform you that God has enabled us to accomplish the dedicating THREE newly built Churches, meeting with all the pastors and also addressing the convention, as per Rev. Nayak's report there were 5000 people in attendance.”
Please pray as we build and rebuild churches and also as we begin rebuilding houses in the area. BCM participates with local resources for these projects. Our participation cost for each church is US$4,320 and for each house is US$730.00.
We were also able to visit with the abandoned and/or orphaned children we are sponsoring in the area, and they are doing well. Pray too as we look for continued sponsorship for these children. BCM also coordinates with local resources for these children. Our participation cost for each child is US$34 monthly.
Blessings,
Marty Windle
BCM President
Continue praying for these people, and BCM's role in the rebuilding of the Christian Community
