If you have been reading my posts since last year at this time, then you will recall the tradition I began to celebrate Advent. We are still planning on having four advent nights this year, but we are combining it with a great idea that I just saw for an advent calendar. A blogger friend at 3+3=Our Full House  had a great link on her blog for creating advent envelopes with special family activities inside for each day.  If you accept the challenge, you are encouraged to post pictures on their Flickr page. Here's the link. We took the challenge, but for us it will be the 24 Days of Christmas. Unless, of course, you count the small birthday party that we had today for our now nine year old Jacob!
