I don't consider myself a great photographer. I once entered one of my pictures in the county fair photo contest and won third place, but that is the extent of my notoriety. I do, however, enjoy taking pictures with our little digital camera. We don't have any bells and whistles on our camera. It's just the regular zoom in, zoom out type thing. But it takes good pictures. Recently I heard about a new meme that I could enter. I enjoy entering memes because I am introduced to other like minded peoples blogs, and hopefully I may gain a few more readers that like my blog. This meme is a photography meme called "Photo Friday". Okay, before I get a ton of comments saying that this is Saturday, I already know . I think that I can still submit after Friday. At least I'm going to try. This meme has a topic of the week and they ask you to submit an original picture that has something to do with that topic. This weeks topic is "Bloom". That's it ~ just Bloom. I looked at some of the other photo's that were submitted and they are amazing. Not all have to do with flower blooms. In fact, many are very creative using anything from smoke to fireworks. Please check it out. Click here for the address.

I know it's a little thing, but it's exciting to me. I made the list of bloggers that blog about Compassion International! Why do I blog so much and tell you so much about Compassion International?
