Mood:  d'oh

Sorry about the unusual post that must have happened sometime today. The one with the book Banner to the Sky. I was experimenting with my Vision Forum affiliate membership stuff and was trying to create a link to all of the VF books that we are reading or are going to read in the near future. Well, if you tried to click on the book, you would find that the link didn't go anywhere, so my experiment didn't work. I didn't mean for it to get posted but somehow it did. Sorry.

We are still at Grandma's house. I'm leaving tomorrow morning early with the boys to get them to therapies and Dr. appointments scheduled tomorrow. Then on to check on the house and spend the night there. Sarah is staying here to be with mom at her out patient appointment at the hospital. Pray for Mom. She is having her heart shocked back into rhythm tomorrow again. They did that a couple of weeks ago but the insurance wouldn't pay for the medicine she was supposed to take to keep it back in rhythm. They finally approved it, but too late for this go around. She will have the procedure done in the morn and then hopefully the medicine will keep it in rhythm. She's nervous, so any prayers would be appreciated.

Okay, I mentioned books earlier in this post. Went back to the used book store today. Spent two dollars and came away with three books. That doesn't usually happen. Actually only paid for one. The other two were in the free barrel outside. You can find some good stuff in that free barrel! For the life of me I don't know why they don't stick a price on some of them and make a little money. Anyway, the three books were:

• Home to Holly Springs by Jan Karon - have you read her "Mitford Series"? Great reads. This is the first book of her "Father Timothy Series". He was featured in the Mitford books, but it's him going back to the town he was raised in. This was my $2 book.
• Crazy Horse and Custer by Stephen E. Ambrose - One of the free books. Unfortunately I don't know much about Custer and Crazy horse, so grabbed this one. No, I've never read Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. That's about Crazy Horse and Custer isn't it? See, I really need to read up on this!
• Saddlebag Parson by Sara Jenkins - I leafed through it and it looked like a nice story so I picked it up. The price was right - $0! I don't even know if it has to do with a Parson or not. I'll let you know.

So, that makes three today, one the other day and three books that I ordered on Amazon. I have got to stop this and start reading. I have a ton of books at home that have never been read either. HELP! My name is "Tim" and I am a bookaholic!
